My name is Alemayehu (Alemaeroots) Hailye. I was born in Gondar and grown up in Addis Ababa. My inspiration start since I was a seven/eight year old going to Ethiopian Orthodox Church and watching those amazing Wall paintings dating back to 15-16 Century.

       Afterwards I develope my Tecnical Art skill (different drawing and painting method) in Elementary and High School, participating with different Cultural & Art center by making Exhibition & getting Prices.

       After I completed my High School I decide to join Master Fine Arts and Videography college Where I achieved my first Diplom from my Profesor named Worku Mamo, who shared his knowledge with me. This becomes a great effort for me to join Addis Abeba University School of Fine Arts and Design. In year 2001 I joined Addis Ababa University School of Fine Arts and Design and studied Three years (instead of four years, which would have lead me to Bachelor Degree) there.

Since the end of 2004 I live in Hamburg (Germany) and I do my further studie on Art in Hochschule für Bildende Kunst (HfbK).
